Benefits of Membership

While access to the Herb and Formula List are open to anyone, membership has it's privileges:

Memberships gives you access to the filter system for both herbs and formulas - you can see how they work in their Demos. You will also, as a member, have access to the My Shelf and My Cart features. They are intended to let you pick herbs that you may have on hand for your "Shelf" or add herbs that you need or want to buy to your "Cart".

My Shelf also offers a feature that lets you select an Ailment and it will then compare the herbs you have in your shelf to the herbs required for formulas that match the ailment you selected. It will then show any formulas that you have all the required herbs for. You'll be able to see at a glance whether the herbs you have on hand will match to any formula for the ailment you select.

Membership also provides access to the Substitution Guide - again, a demo is available to see how it works. This feature allows you to select an herb that perhaps you can't use, or don't have, and it will list all the herbs that share properties or energetics with that herb. You can then further filter that list by selecting specific energetics or properties that you're looking for, until you get down to an herb that might be appropriate to substitute.

Buying a monthly or annual membership also allows you to create your own formulas. These will be only visible to you, though you can email the Admin and ask to make it visible to everyone if you choose. These formulas will show up in the formulas list but also in My Formulas. Any formulas that you do create will remain available to you even if you cancel your paid membership, but you wouldn't be able to create any new ones.
